A New Family In Our Neighborhood

A few weeks back I got busy cleaning up and decorating the porches in anticipation of the warm weather. As is typical I had procrastinated removing the winter wreath from the front porch and was looking forward to transforming the area into its' Spring attire.
However, my plans were put on hold when I discovered that the winter wreath had become inhabitated by an expectant mom.
This morning I am pleased to announce that a new family has moved in. Congratulations to the new Mom!

Hahaha, that's so very kind of you to be hosting a new family. What do you think is their name, hehe. We also have some of these little birds in our property, in fact my nephew and i brought a ladder to one house inside a treehole, and i found 2 little eggs of the Asian Robin. How i wish i can still see them when they hatch.

Be sure to take photos when they grow bigger. It's fun to see them open their mouths so wide when their mom is feeding them. A slight tap from you near the nest will also elicit that response from these birdlings. Enjoy your find.

Andrea,
The wreath look a bit silly next to all the warm weather decor..lol But I figured it wouldn't be too long and they would move on..she picked a great place..it's dry, out of the wind and safe so you just can't blame her. I haven't been able to see just what type of bird it is as everytime we get close to the nest she flies away. I plan to check on them every other day or so and will take pictures.
